Love is not an answer.
It is a movement.
A movement recognized as freedom.
The freedom to be.
The freedom to become.
Freedom cannot be given.
It must be realized.
And perhaps that is why love can feel so vulnerable.
What we understand as love often arrives with questions:
• Does the other person love me back?
• Are they thinking about me?
• What are they feeling?
• Should I express my feelings?
These questions arise from the belief that love should look the same for everyone.
But it does not.
Each person possesses a different capacity for thoughts, feelings, actions, and awareness.
Although love is part of the shared human experience,
no two people experience it in the same way.
So how can we expect another person to feel exactly as we do?
To give another person the freedom to feel as they will,
You must first give that freedom to yourself.
This is where fear often appears.
Not because love is weak.
But because love cannot be controlled.
Love allows.
Fear attempts to possess.
Love trusts movement.
Fear seeks certainty.
And between them stands a difficult question:
Can I allow something to be real without needing to own it?
What many experience as loss is often the fear of losing.
What many experience as weakness is often vulnerability.
Yet vulnerability may be the very doorway through which love becomes recognizable.
If something is real, it does not need to be forced.
If something is not real, it cannot be held indefinitely.
Love does not ask us to control another person.
Love asks us to remain open enough to recognize what is true.
And perhaps that is why love and fear appear together so often.
Fear asks:
"What if I lose it?"
Love asks:
"What if I allow it to be what it is?"
Love is often feared because freedom and attachment appear together.
We want to hold what we love.
Yet love asks us to allow movement.
What remains through movement reveals its nature.
What disappears reveals its nature as well.
If it's real —It will never go away.
If it's not —It will never stay.
