Truth Is At The Core Of Any Argument

Truth is not found in the distance. Truth is revealed at the moment when we open new ways of engaging, yet what seems like absolute truth now may mean nothing tomorrow.

Truth is at the center of every argument 20 The Knower tarot card

You can win an argument

and still lose the core center of it.

There is more than one way to look at things

without the need to be proven right or wrong.

In every direction we look,

we are seeking truth.

Truth is not found in the distance.

Truth is revealed at the moment

when we open new perceptions of engagement.

What seems to be an absolute truth now

may be of no meaning tomorrow.

Even that which is written in stone

may fracture and break throughout time.

Allowing the mind to develop new perceptions

is not an easy task.

The intelligent mind is curious by nature,

but it still needs our permission

to be free.

To explore.

The Importance Of A North Star In The Human Psyche

When we find something to be true,

we cling to it as if our life depends on it.

And maybe it does.

And maybe “truth” to us

is what the North Star was to our ancestors.

A stable direction they could trust.

An anchor.

So truth-seeking is the means

by which we anchor our belief structure.

Stability — Reliability — Trust — Safety

Without a stable belief structure,

we feel lost in time and space.

Words of meaning are like the bone structure

of our collective belief system.

If we start taking these words apart,

we risk collapse.

Thus, before looking for new perceptions of truth,

one must find their North Star first.

Their one center of origin.

What If The Self Is The Center Of A Belief Structure?

Words of meaning

Such as truth or faith can be perceived

as seeds at the base of a belief structure.

The seed shoots roots below and sprouts above

like plants and trees.

Moving and growing

in opposite directions.

And so does the self

when it is perceived

from the core center of any argument.

Regardless of the words and meaning

we use,

It is the ‘self’ that is moving beneath it all,

The self is extending in both opposing directions.

only to return to its core of origin.

The one center.

To know your seed

Is to know thyself.

So, how do we get to know ourselves?

The oppositions created in your life

Can tell you much about who you are.

Rather than fight your opposites,

get to know the secret they hold

about you.

Not against you.

Something to remember:

We are treating words of meaning

as if they exist all by themselves.

But -

they do not have selves.

The one who is creating

and using these items -

Is the self!

Once we accept the meaning of things

we dare not change our mind

about them.

And maybe - we don’t have to.

And maybe - we rather extend their meaning

to their fullest range.

And see how far yourself

Is willing to go.

Only to come back to its center.
