A Practical Approach to Psychic Tarot Readings For You and Others

In its simplest form,
tarot is a pictorial language
with versatile styles,
meanings,
and functions.

Using tarot for self-awareness
is a practical way
for a card reader to widen
and deepen
their perception
and vision.

In fact,
most readers find themselves
dealing with the same issues
as the people they read for.

Needless to say:

The more we know ourselves,
the better we understand others.

When a certain subject appears in a tarot reading,
the reader is most likely
to identify it with a similar experience
from their own life.

But people who go through the same experiences
do not always behave
or respond in the same way.

What is meaningful to one person
may be of no importance to another.

Temperament,
personality,
perception,
experience,
and circumstances
are all involved
in the making
of our unique responses
to otherwise common life events.

Before diving into what the cards are showing,
the tarot reader is advised
to first get a feel for the person they are reading.

And remember —

They are not you.

Self-Awareness Puts the Tarot Reader in Check

During a tarot reading,
there is an exchange of energy
between participants.

To be self-aware
is to be able to recognize
one's own responses
without allowing them
to take over the reading.

The well-collected reader
can remain somewhat detached
from the subject
and therefore better able
to remain unbiased.

It is normal to take a side,
especially when more than one person is involved.

But for the sake of a balanced
and beneficial session,
it is not recommended.

Self-awareness is key
to remaining neutral
and keeping personal opinions
in check.

When a Tarot Reading Is Done for Yourself

Reading your own cards
is never easy.

Why is that?

Because it is difficult
to detach
from yourself.

In this case,
self-awareness is a double-edged sword.

If your understanding of yourself
has already become a fixed story,
your mind may be made up.

And therefore,
you may not be able
to perceive new information.

Here, you are required to
forget
what you think you know
and see yourself
as a person
you know nothing about.

A Practice Before Reading Your Own Cards

Close your eyes.

Breathe deeply in and out.

Hold your breath.

Collect all your self-awareness
into one feeling.

With nothing specific in mind.

Release your breath
and start the reading.

Remember:

Do not hold on to any
thought,
question,
wish,
or prayer.

Be as blank as possible.

The trick is:

Being able to collect your awareness
as a whole
and give it away
to make room for more.
