What appears reversed

When balance is lost,
a system does not collapse immediately.

It compensates.

It inverts.
It distorts—

to restore equilibrium.

The Reverser does not react to distortion.

It reads it.

At the center of this card is a simple principle:

Opposites share the same origin.

They are complementary.

Where true opposition exists,
movement is possible.

Where absence is mistaken for opposition,
distortion begins.

This shows up when:
